RIS Pronext Team Gets an Exclusive Visits at Central Chidlom

RIS is committed to developing the next generation of talent. We recently organized a special event for our Pronext program participants, taking them on a field trip to Central Chidlom Department Store. The goal was to provide them with the opportunity to learn from experts and understand the core of the digital-age retail business.

Senior executives graciously shared their experiences and knowledge, giving the Pronext team a comprehensive overview and a deep understanding of the complex processes, from front-end operations to the back-end systems of the Central Group.

Deep Dive into Customer Experience at Central Chidlom

Central Chidlom warmly welcomed the Pronext team from RIS. Mr. Tanayot Krutrabeab (Sup), Human Resources Director, and Ms. Patcharee Thipyamaabutr (Patch), Store General Manager, guided the team through the Super Brand, Beauty Brand, and other zones within the store. Ms. Patch explained the concepts behind their approach and answered questions in a friendly manner, focusing on how they create the best customer experience for everyone who visits the shopping center.

From Front-End to Back-End: Collaborating with CMG

Following this, Ms. Waratchaya Sripanthamas (Pang), Head of Operation Excellence - Fashion & Watch at Central Marketing Group (CMG), shared in-depth knowledge about the interconnected processes, from the work of front-line staff to the back-end systems. This gave the Pronext team a complete picture of the business, allowing them to apply this knowledge to develop systems and innovations that will effectively meet the needs of the business and customers in the future.

The Heart of Technology: Exploring RIS's IT Systems

The day concluded with an in-depth technological session led by Mr. Bunjerd Phuengpittayanan (Ake), Head of IT Rollout & Store Experience at RIS. He took the Pronext team to visit the Server Room and various back-end support systems that form the core of the IT infrastructure. These systems seamlessly connect both Offline and Online operations, ensuring that Central's customers receive a smooth and excellent shopping and service experience.

This initiative not only offered our Pronext participants invaluable knowledge from industry experts but also underscored the importance of collaboration between business and technology. It is a commitment to driving Digital Transformation and building a sustainable future for Central Group and all our customers.
